Time to Get Back to Work

ree

Hi everyone!

September is here and you can already feel the first touch of autumn in the air. After a wonderful summer break, I’m back to work full of energy and motivation.

I spent some amazing days – first in Alton Towers, and then in Snowdonia, where I could enjoy the mountains and fresh air.

🎢 Alton Towers

The park was brilliant – two great days with surprisingly good weather. The forecast said rain, but for us the sun was shining most of the time.

On the second day, around 2 pm, all rides were suddenly closed because of a storm warning. Only Hex, the ride inside the old castle, stayed open. We ran there just in time – the rain started as we got inside. The attraction itself is more of an experience than a ride, really interesting and full of atmosphere. But this time, something unusual happened – the power went out! Total darkness, and we were quickly evacuated.

Since it was already our second day, we decided to head back to the car and drive towards Snowdonia, about 3 hours away. Looking back – this visit was one of the best I’ve had in Alton Towers. Great weather, very short queues (maximum 40 minutes, most around 15 minutes). A perfect trip.

⛰️ Snowdonia

After the rollercoaster fun, we arrived at a beautiful campsite with mountain views. The next day we rested, and then on Friday it was time for the challenge – climbing Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales.

At first, we tried the Pen y Pass parking, but it was fully booked. Luckily, I found another parking for £5 a day with a shuttle bus (£10 return). We started our hike on the Pyg Track, a tougher but beautiful trail with amazing views.

As we got closer to the top, the clouds rolled in and covered the summit. We made it to the top tired but happy. And yes – there is even a café on the summit, because you can also go up by train. After some food, a warm drink, and a little souvenir, we went back down using the Miners’ Track, which follows the valley.

We reached the bottom just in time – 19:20, and the last bus back was at 19:30. Another bit of luck on this trip!

📸 Passion and Work

Of course, I didn’t forget my passion – I took lots of photos and videos for a future vlog. I hope to share it one day on YouTube.

Now I’m back at work with fresh energy. I’m continuing projects for local businesses and already have autumn photo sessions booked. If you’re looking for a photographer in Southampton – for advertising, portraits, or family memories – I’d be happy to work with you.

Wishing you all a warm and colourful autumn 🍂 See you in the next blog or vlog!
